Patients with chronic disease

During times of a declared natural disaster or emergency, pharmacists can continue to support patients to access eligible essential medicines at the usual Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) or Repatriation Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (RPBS) cost.

These Australian Government arrangements complement emergency supply provisions available under NSW legislation, such as the seven days emergency medicine supply without a prescription.
