South Western Sydney PHN (SWSPHN) supports GPs to provide quality healthcare to the region’s older people by:
- delivering continuing professional development opportunities and providing linkages to other training and resources
- implementing projects that aim to increase the health literacy of our older people, better integrate health services and assist GPs who provide primary health care to older people living in residential aged care
General Practitioners provide healthcare across people’s lifespan and the spectrum health issues. South Western Sydney GPs provide healthcare to older people living in their homes and in a residential aged care facilities.
