NewAccess is a free, six-session coaching program providing support for people experiencing the stress of life pressures who are living in South Western Sydney.
NewAccess coaches are specially trained and experienced in working with clients on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) strategies, helping them to set practical, effective goals and get their lives back on track.
Underpinned by 10+ years of research including a three-year trial in Australia, the program is proven to help people hesitant to engage with mental health services and helps people tackle day-to-day pressures caused by work, family, health or financial issues that are affecting their life.
The program comprises of six (+ two follow-up) free sessions with a NewAccess coach, over the phone or face-to-face. At the first appointment the coach completes an initial assessment with the client and develops a program tailored to their specific needs.
NewAccess is developed by Beyond Blue and delivered by One Door Mental Health, and Community Links Wellbeing.
