People living in South Western Sydney are invited to attend a local health forum happening in March and April.
Attend a local health forum to discuss how we can improve the health of our region and ensure we attract and keep quality GPs, and other primary health professionals.
Health professionals, service providers and community members are encouraged to attend a Local Health Forum to share their experiences and ideas on enhancing our primary care workforce.
Discuss how we can attract and retain quality healthcare providers in South Western Sydney, and let us know what a community needs from their local primary healthcare services.
Who should attend?
Feedback is sought from a variety of people – from any community member who uses healthcare services within South Western Sydney, and from the health professionals and organisational representatives who service South Western Sydney, including:
- general practitioners, primary care nurses, practice managers
- allied health professionals
- health consumers
- university students and faculty staff (nursing and medical)
- Local Health District representatives
- NGO representatives
- aged care representatives
- disability workers and carers
- refugees
- people from various cultural backgrounds
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders
Local Health Forums are free and include a two-course buffet dinner.
