The Primary Care Eating Disorders Supports Program provides support for individuals with food-related anxiety or an eating disorder.
The program offers early intervention to treat the onset of symptoms, while also managing those who have long-standing symptoms and an existing diagnosis of an eating disorder. Treatment covers all eating disorders, including binge eating disorder, bulimia nervosa and anorexia nervosa.
The program can provide multidisciplinary care, and link young people to a psychiatrist, dietitian and mental health professionals, who will work together to provide support for the client.
There are two eating disorders support programs in South Western Sydney, delivered by service providers One Door and Community Links.
