FYRST (Follow-On Youth Recovery Support Team) is a support service for young people 12-25 years to address their alcohol and drug issues. FYRST also offers support to those who are completing, or have completed detox, rehab, or are leaving detention.
If you are 12-25 years old and are concerned about your alcohol and drug use, FYRST can support you.
FYRST offers flexible and individual support and case management, support for rehab and detox, relapse prevention, relationship issues, practical assistance and referral to other services, including Centrelink, housing, education and training, employment and legal support. FYRST provides a mobile support team to visit your home, a café or pick you up from local transport.
How to access
Make an appointment with your GP or health professional to discuss a referral OR you can refer yourself or a young person you are supporting, by calling FYRST Liverpool on 8785 3200 or downloading a referral form and emailing to fyrst.southwest@salvationarmy.org.au
