CRC’s Transitional Drug and Alcohol Support program is an outreach alcohol and other drugs (AOD) support and case management service, for people with a history of involvement in the criminal justice system.
If you are experiencing drug and alcohol concerns and have a history of involvement in the criminal justice system and are exiting prison, CRC can provide a primarily outreach model to support you with:
- Your alcohol and other drug concerns
- Housing
- Attending appointments, and
- Assisting with Community Corrections
CRC will work with you in developing non-judgmental and genuinely caring relationships between yourself and workers.
The CRC Transitional Drug and Alcohol Support program aims to improve access to alcohol and other drugs services and treatment, particularly at the vulnerable post-release stage.
CRC recognises that the importance of maintaining support is central to longer term success in terms of reduction of re-offending.
