Co-design is the process of inviting community members, health professionals, carers and engaged individuals to work with us to inform and support service delivery which effectively meets the needs of our community.
SWSPHN understands effective co-design requires active contribution from a diverse mix of stakeholders and routinely invites our community to contribute via face-to-face and online events, interviews, surveys and focus groups. We are committed to collaborating with our community and pride ourselves on effectively listening to people and responding to feedback.
Through co-design and collaboration we are able to make recommendations for developing and deliver services which are fit for purpose, person-centred and supported by the people who use them.
Engage with SWSPHN to help us design the services our community needs
Keep an eye on our social media pages and community newsletter. We often post opportunities for community members, service providers and carers to contribute through surveys, focus groups, workshops and information sessions.
Recent co-design projects include the mental health deep dive and suicide prevention co-design, healthy ageing co-design and the Wingecarribee aged care deep dive.
