Aim of meeting:
This webinar aims to enhance clinician confidence and competency in safe, effective ear wax management under direct vision using the VorOtek O Scope and microsuction techniques, with a strong focus on visualisation, patient safety, and clinical best practice.
Learning outcomes:
- Demonstrate correct setup and ergonomic use of the VorOtek O Scope to achieve optimal visualisation and depth perception within the ear canal.
- Apply best practice wax management techniques including curettage, microsuction, speculum selection, and instrument handling under direct vision.
- Conduct safe and patient-centred wax removal procedures through appropriate patient assessment, consent, risk communication, and identification of presentations requiring caution or referral.
