Individuals and health professionals can use the Australian Type 2 Diabetes Risk Assessment Tool (AUSDRISK) to assess the risk of developing type 2 diabetes over the next five years.
Complete AUSDRISK by yourself or with the help of your GP or practice nurse.
AUSDRISK provides you with your level of risk once you have answered a short list of questions.
If you receive a ‘high’ score on this tool speak to your GP about doing a type 2 diabetes risk assessment, also known as the 40 to 49 health check.
