As our highly valued Procurement and Contracts Coordinator you’ll use your procurement, contract development and management, and stakeholder engagement skills to ensure effective systems are implemented and coordinate the way SWSPHN procures and contracts commissioned healthcare services.

 

You’ll make an impact at scale by:

  • Work with internal stakeholders and commissioned service providers to achieve program outcomes via contracting and procurement, such as procurement implementation, contract development, contract negotiation and ongoing contract and risk management.
  • Act as a point of contact and advice for contractual matters, liaising with staff, legal advisors, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Work with Program Coordinators to review and assess performance of service providers, vendors and sub-contractors to ensure their obligations to SWSPHN are met.
  • Enhance organisational capability in intelligent and outcomes focused commissioning aligned with the SWSPHN Commissioning Framework.

 

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in contract review, negotiation, drafting and preparation within healthcare, public or commercial environments that apply to Australian law.
  • An understanding of operational / business risks associated with outsourcing contracts.
  • High level interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver shared outcomes of the SWSPHN.
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain trust and confidentiality.
  • Understanding of procurement / commissioning of services utilising various methods including RFP, RFT, RFQ, EOI and direct engagement, with knowledge of procurement framework processes.
  • Experience in the use of contract management software.

12-month contract with possible extension dependent on funding.
