We are seeking a talented General Practice Nurse to join our dedicated team at Panania Medical Practice. This is a full-time (4-5 Days) role located in Panania, NSW 2213. As a General Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of our medical practice.
What you’ll be doing
• Providing nursing care and support to patients visiting the practice
• Assisting doctors with examinations, treatments and procedures
• Administering vaccinations and managing immunisation programs
• Conducting health assessments, health education and chronic disease management
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensuring the practice’s clinical areas and equipment are well-maintained and compliant with infection control standards
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver coordinated patient care
What we’re looking for
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Minimum 1 year experience working as a General Practice Nurse or
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work autonomously
• Recall and reminder knowledge
• Chronic disease management (Preparing Care Plans and Health Assessments)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and the healthcare team
• Demonstrated proficiency in maintaining accurate clinical documentation and data entry
• Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with nursing practices
• Nurse immunisation
