ACRRM Drug and Alcohol Addiction Education (DAAE) Program
The ACRRM Drug and Alcohol Addiction Education (DAAE) Program features a suite of training activities designed to strengthen the capacity of GPs to address drug and alcohol addiction in their communities.
Available at no cost to ACRRM members, the DAAE program includes an online learning course, virtual and face-to-face workshops and webinars with subject matter experts, supported by resources for GPs to use within their practice.
Eligible ACRRM members can claim an incentive grant following successful completion of each DAAE Program training activity.
Eligible ACRRM members include all doctors and registrars who are current financial members of the college (excludes students, health professionals, IMG associates, future RG and retired members).

- 2 hours PDP (performance review)
- $2,700 incentive grant available
- 1,100 places available
How it benefits you
Highly interactive workshops provide tools and techniques for GPs to address addiction issues and effectively harness the local resources and referral pathways available. Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss specific cases from their local community.

Alcohol and Other Drugs – Driving Change in Communities online education course

- 12 hrs PDP (educational activities)
- $1,300 incentive grant available*
- 1,100 places available

Self-directed case-based online courses focus on developing effective communication strategies for assessing and managing patients with drug and alcohol addiction and optimising treatment options available in the local community.
