Eligible parties are invited to respond to a Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a new Medicare Mental Health Centre in Green Valley.
The Green Valley centre will be the third Medicare Mental Health Centre in South Western Sydney.
Proposals close at 5pm on Friday, 18 September 2026 and must be lodged through the SWSPHN Tender Portal.

Medicare Mental Health Centres deliver evidence-informed, person-centred, recovery-oriented and cost-effective mental health services, aligned with a stepped care approach, for adults who may be experiencing moderate to high levels of distress or crisis.
Procurement overview
SWSPHN is seeking to commission an eligible organisation to establish and deliver the Green Valley Medicare Mental Health Centre as part of the national rollout of Medicare Mental Health services.
The centre will address identified gaps in the mental health system by providing an accessible, evidence-informed and person-centred service for adults experiencing moderate to high levels of distress or crisis.
The service must be recovery-oriented, cost-effective and aligned with a stepped care approach. It will support adults whose needs are too complex for many current primary care services, as well as those who are not eligible for public mental health services or who require more timely care than those services can provide.

An online information session will be held to assist potential respondents in their submission for the Green Valley Medicare Mental Health Centre RFP.
The session will provide an overview of the RFP, outcomes sought, the process for submission and to allow potential respondents to ask questions.
