Dementia Support Australia is the gateway to the Dementia Behaviour Management Advisory Service (DBMAS) which provides information, advice, assessment and short-term case management interventions. Where a person lives in a residential aged care facility and their behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia are severe or very severe, the case may be escalated by DBMAS to the Severe Behaviour Response Teams. These teams provide assessment and management strategies at the aged care facility plus medical intervention where required.
South Western Sydney PHN is a not-for-profit health organisation dedicated to supporting general practitioners, practice nurses and other primary health providers.
