Aim:
The session will offer valuable insights into identifying the signs of gambling harm, approaching patients about sensitive topics like gambling addiction, and providing the right support or referral options. By gaining a deeper understanding of gambling harm and effective intervention strategies, GPs can improve their practice and better assist patients who may be struggling in silence. The session will include practical tools, resources, and case-based examples to help GPs incorporate this knowledge into their day-to-day clinical work.

- Identify the signs and symptoms of gambling harm.
- Determine the impact of gambling harm on physical health, mental health and social wellbeing.
- Implement gambling harm screening tool and identify appropriate referral pathways and support services.
