Aim:
This session aims to evaluate and compare lipid management strategies, covering both traditional treatments and newer agents. It will also assess the role of calcium scoring and CT coronary angiography (CTCA) through case studies and evidence and examine the evaluation and clinical management of myocarditis using case-based approaches.
Learning outcomes:
- Review of lipid management pathways, including the mechanisms and clinical evidence of conventional therapies and newer agents.
- Examine the use of calcium scoring and CT coronary angiography in risk stratification, including case studies and the pros and cons of these imaging techniques.
- Review causes, presentation, evaluation and common management approaches to myocarditis.
