Aim:
Increased awareness of recognition and management of anaphylaxis.

Key messages:

  • Adrenaline is the only treatment for anaphylaxis.
  • Every person diagnosed at risk of anaphylaxis to a food or insect must be prescribed an adrenaline autoinjector and have an ASCIA Action Plan.
  • Education of child/family/individual is vital.
