Aim:
This webinar will cover education on effective dietary and lifestyle management strategies, inclusive of physical activity, and education on blood glucose monitoring and the safe use of insulin, GLP-1 receptor agonists, SGLT2 inhibitors, and other oral medications for improved overall health and glucose control.
At the end of this meeting, participants will be able to:
- Develop strategies to encourage behaviour change in patients with Type 2 diabetes, helping them make evidence-based dietary adjustments to enhance glycaemic control.
- Interpret how to effectively teach individuals about blood glucose monitoring and how to interpret their results.
- Examine the key information required to educate individuals on oral and injectable diabetes treatments.
